At Memorial Hospital, we believe in caring for the whole person. We offer a variety of services that not only address your physical health but your behavioral health as well. Depression, anxiety and other mental conditions are common illnesses and our primary care providers are experienced with helping patients with such conditions get the best possible treatment.
We have behavioral health counselors in our family care and internal medicine practices to help patients and their family members understand their condition and work with them on a patient-centered plan of treatment. This may include medications, referrals to counseling, or both.
We also rely on our affiliation with Care New England partners Butler Hospital and The Providence Center for advanced help when needed. Board-certified specialists from Butler and The Providence Center also provide inpatient and Emergency Department consults here at Memorial.
If you are experiencing behavioral health issues, please speak to your primary care physician. If you do not have a primary care physician, we have a list of those accepting new patients.
