Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, a Care New England Hospital, continues a free ‘Talks Your Health’ lecture series at Progresso Latino, Inc. that focuses on an array of health and wellness topics.

The series, delivered in Spanish, by experts and physicians will take place at Progresso Latino, Inc., 626 Broad Street, Central Falls. All lectures are from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., are free, and open to the public.

Menopause – Lecture given by Ruben Alvero, MD, director of reproductive endocrinology, Women & Infants Hospital.

Tuesday, April 25
11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Vertigo – Lecture given by Carolina Valencia-Fonseca, MD, internal medicine, Memorial Hospital.

Thursday, May 11
11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Insomnia – Lecture given by Chelsea Graham, MD, family medicine, Memorial Hospital.

Thursday, June 8
11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Aging Gracefully – Lecture given by Alicia Curtin, NP, family medicine/geriatrics, Memorial Hospital.

Progresso Latino, Inc. is a multi-service, non-profit community based organization located in Central Falls. Their mission is to empower the Latino community by providing the knowledge, skills, training, continuum of services and opportunities for self-sufficiency, human development, prosperity, and a flourishing community.
