Jordan White, MD, MPH, is a family physician in the Department of Family Medicine at Memorial Hospital and an assistant professor of family medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She assumes the new role as assistant dean of student affairs at Alpert Medical School in August 2016.
Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Medicine, she is a board member of the East Side Early Learning Center, an advisory board member of Mom-Doc-Family, and a member of the Vaccine Advisory Committee and Title X family planning physician consultant with the Rhode Island Department of Health. She is a member of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Rhode Island Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Preventive Medicine.
Dr. White’s primary research interest is medical student education. She has earned thousands of dollars in grant support for her work on group prenatal visits, as well as for other projects that support medical students in working as partners with the communities in which they serve.
