
Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island recently appointed David O. Williams, M.D., to its Medical Staff as the Director of the Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratory.
A Barrington, RI resident, Dr. Williams earned his medical degree at Hahnemann University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA. He completed his internal medicine residency at Hahnemann Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Williams completed a fellowship in Cardiology at the University of California, Davis, CA. He is an interventional cardiologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA.
Dr. Williams is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He is a fellow of the following: American College of Cardiology, the Society of Cardiac Angiography, the Council on Clinical Cardiology and the American Heart Association. Dr. Williams is also certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners with added qualification in interventional cardiology.
His special interest includes interventional cardiology and ischemic heart disease.
