
Ana Catarina Garnecho, MD has recently joined Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island’s Pediatric Department/ Neurodevelopmental Center.
Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, Dr. Garnecho earned her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, NY. She completed a Pediatrics residency at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY, where she was elected to serve as Chief Resident in Pediatrics. She also completed a fellowship in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics from Rhode Island Hospital / The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Providence, RI.
Board certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Garnecho has been selected as the Center for Disease Control’s Act Early Campaign Ambassador for Rhode Island. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Pediatric Association, Society of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics and Rhode Island Association for Infant Mental Health.
Dr. Garnecho’s practice is located at the Neurodevelopmental Center, 555 Prospect Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860. Services provided at the Neurodevelopmental Center include the evaluation and follow-up management of children with developmental and behavioral concerns. Dr. Garnecho will be caring for children with developmental delays, cognitive impairments, language disorders, autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning disabilities and related developmental-behavioral concerns.
