
Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island recently appointed Marie Gerhard-Herman, MD, FACC, to its Medical Staff as the Director of Vascular Lab in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine.
A Boston, MA resident, Dr. Gerhard-Herman earned her medical degree at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine, OH. She completed her internal medicine residency and was chief medical resident at Boston City Hospital, Boston, MA. She completed a cardiovascular medicine and vascular medicine fellowships from Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA. Dr. Gerhard-Herman is a practicing cardiologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She is an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA.
Dr. Gerhard-Herman is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. She is a member of the American Heart Association, American Society of Echocardiography, Society of Vascular Medicine and Society for Vascular Ultrasound. Her special interest includes deep venous thrombosis and vascular diseases.
