Your Personal Team From childbirth classes to discharge, your personal care team offers continuous support, so that the nurse who assists you throughout labor and the birthing process continues to care for you and your newborn after delivery as well.
Our maternity nurses are trained in advanced labor support techniques, fetal monitoring, breastfeeding support, as well as providing care to healthy and at-risk newborns.
After the birth of your baby, our cross-trained nurses continue to care for you and your baby, ensuring a smooth transition and providing the support and education you will need to care for your baby when you are ready to go home. Breastfeeding support is available from our on-staff board-certified lactation consultants. Our newborn nursery provides a vast array of services for both normal and complex newborn care needs. Even after you leave, experienced staff are available 24 hours a day on our “Warm Line” (401-729-2291) to respond to your questions or concerns.
