Concussions are more common than you think. Each year more than 300,000 sports related concussions occur in the United States. The most common traumatic brain injury, a concussion, changes how cells in the brain work. If you are a coach involved with sports or a parent of an athlete, it is vital to be aware of common signs and symptoms of concussion and a hospital-based program that you can depend on for diagnosis and treatment.
