Memorial Hospital's Podiatry Department consists of 23 highly qualified professionals who specialize in many lower extremity needs ranging from the care of the diabetic foot through preventative nail care and infection management, to more advanced surgical techniques dealing with the flat foot and high arched foot. The podiatrists share their knowledge and care to understand the cause of your ailment in order to provide the most effective cure.
The newly implemented Children's Foot Center of Rhode Island located in the Pediatric Department on the 4th floor of the hospital, is a first of its kind in the state. It focuses on developmental foot conditions including Congenital Flatfoot, Metatarsus Adductus, Toe Walking, In/Out Toeing and Pediatric Bunions to name a few.
