Provides administrative support to the Stroke Director with respect to all aspects of the MHRI Stroke Program. Communicates with all clinical departments involved with acute stroke care; maintains the stroke registry and database; reviews patient records for required stroke data; maintains Acute Stroke Team Log, communicates quality and performance outcomes to multidisciplinary stroke team. Tracks and communicates clinical outcomes, participates on committees and in meetings related to the Stroke Center; takes and disseminates meeting minutes; follows up on action items. Works under Stroke Director to coordinate education for clinicians, EMS, patients and members of the community; develops and maintains budget. Performs related duties as required.
Hours: 20 hours weekly (1st shift) Education
: BS/BA degree and/or equivalent work experience preferred. Experience
: 5-7 years in the medical field Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Computer proficiency including MS Office and data entry, organization and priority setting skills, grant seeking and application knowledge, ability to multi task, delegate and cooperate, understanding of research, knowledge of basic medical terminology required. Special Qualifications:
