Job Description: HOURS: 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM & 7:30 AM - 4:00PM weekends
Performs a variety of routine tasks and functions to prepare and cook food items for employees, special functions and others as directed, following standard policies and procedures and in compliance with regulatory agency requirements and regularly scheduled meal periods. Maintains proper sanitation of work station and serving areas. maintains positive customer relations. Performs related duties as required.
**This position may be combined with "Cook position #12-180" 16 hours per pay period.**
Education: HS diploma or GED required.
Experience: 2 years restaurant or institutional food service required
Certification: State of Rhode Island Certification in Food Safety and sanitation required.
Abilities: Knowledge of operation of institutional food service equipment, weights & measures, proprer food handling and storage.
