Administrative oversight includes, but not limited to, day to day management and mitigating issues for the Cardiology Practice, non-Invasive Testing, Cardiac Cath/IR Lab and liaison to our inpatient Cardiology Services. Provides recommendations regarding hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations, monitors employee workload, staffing patterns and productivity to ensure continuous quality services. Regularly inspects and evaluates new equipment and procedures and updates or implements as necessary.   This position will identify needs and develop effective proposals for new programs, develop an accurate budget for the department and effectively monitor it. Ensure compliance with productivity targets as well as AMS FTE targets. He/She will ensure all departmental procedures are performs appropriately and according to established procedures. This position will provide contribution to Hospital operations through active participation in professional meetings, committees and conferences. 

He/She will work collaboratively with other Managers/Directors/Practice Managers of Cardiac Services to build and strengthen the Cardiovascular Service Line. 

Hours: 80 biweekly (1st Shift)

Job Description: Performance of vascular exams – peripheral arterial and venous, visceral, extracranial, surgical bypass and interventional evaluation; records preliminary interpretation of studies on adult and geriatric patients; formulates preliminary report. The provision of services includes assessing patients, developing plan for accomplishing procedure(s) ordered, setting up room and equipment to accomplish procedure, and ensuring quality images. The technologist must solve problems related to the daily needs of patient, department and clinic with professional standards on documentation of care and timeliness. Performs related duties as required. 
Hours: 20 week (40 bi-weekly) 1st shift 

Education: Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, a health-related profession preferred. 

Experience: A minimum of two years of direct full-time work experience is preferred.Experience in carotid, peripheral arterial and venous, visceral, extracranial, surgical bypass and interventional evaluation preferred.

License/Registration/Certificate: BCLS certification required. Registered (RVT or RVS) Vascular Tech required.
