Job Description: The Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) or Senior Team Leader is responsible for all nursing care from admission through discharge.  The RN assesses the patients and develops, implements and evaluates a plan of care for assigned patients and families.  Provision of care by the RN includes delivery of direct care as well as accountability for appropriateness of nursing care delivered by licensed practical nurses (LPN) and certified nursing assistants (CNA).  All aspects of patient care and the patient's response to care are documented according to established policies and procedures.  The RN communicates in a professional manner, providing pertinent information to other staff members and patients / families, including necessary education required for patient care.  Performs related duties as required.

Experience:  Previous acute care nursing experience 
Previous experience or educational preparation for unit specific case types and care preferred.
Special Qualifications: Knowledge of current nursing practices, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and psychosocial sciences related to various ages.  Knowledge of common procedures and techniques utilized with the specialty.

Job Description: Under direction of the Medical Director, follows departmental policies and procedures in conducting exercise and pharmacologic stress testing. Perform clinical assessment of patients. Screen for contraindications to testing and early warning signs of impeding problems. Perform exercise and pharmacologic cardiac stress testing to include – EKG monitoring during testing, read and interpret EKGs; identifies arrhythmias and provide preliminary interpretation, and determine when to discontinue monitoring. Handle medical emergencies following ACLS protocol. Must be competent in computer use for accessing the schedule, email, and other programs as required. Will perform cardiology office support work, including maintaining the EMR, patient charts, copying, scheduling, tracking, phone calls, patient triage and other office duties as needed. Assists in monitoring patients post non-invasive and invasive cardiac procedures. Assists in coordinating stress test schedule in collaboration with cardiology manager. Secondary duties include supporting clinical mission through patient follow-up calls, confirmation calls, medication counseling and adjustments, communicating lab results, and prescription refills as necessary. Performs related duties as required.

Hours: 30 hours weekly (1st shift)

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred. ACLS and BLS required.

Experience: 2 years prior cardiac testing experience or critical care experience required. Stress testing experience preferred. EKG interpretation proficiency required.

License/Registration: RI RN License required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: EKG interpretation, venipuncture techniques required.

Special Qualifications: Knowledge of exercise physiology, cardiac and pulmonary pathophysiology risk factors.

Job Description: Performance of vascular exams – peripheral arterial and venous, visceral, extracranial, surgical bypass and interventional evaluation; records preliminary interpretation of studies on adult and geriatric patients; formulates preliminary report. The provision of services includes assessing patients, developing plan for accomplishing procedure(s) ordered, setting up room and equipment to accomplish procedure, and ensuring quality images. The technologist must solve problems related to the daily needs of patient, department and clinic with professional standards on documentation of care and timeliness. Performs related duties as required. 
Hours: 20 week (40 bi-weekly) 1st shift 

Education: Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, a health-related profession preferred. 

Experience: A minimum of two years of direct full-time work experience is preferred.Experience in carotid, peripheral arterial and venous, visceral, extracranial, surgical bypass and interventional evaluation preferred.

License/Registration/Certificate: BCLS certification required. Registered (RVT or RVS) Vascular Tech required. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with peers/other disciplines required. Ability to work independently.
